Strawberry tart
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of flour 100
- 6 spoons of butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 marengued egg
- 1/4kg fresh strawberries
- 2 spoons of lemon juice
- 1 or 1/2 corn flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 cup vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the flour, butter, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix them. Add the marengue and work the dough. Sprinkle with some flour and cut the dough in round pieces. Let it rest in the frigde for 2-3 hours and then bake it in the oven.
In the meantime prepare the filling for the tart. Wash, clean the strawberries and mix them with
the corn flour and salt. Pour the water and let it boil contantly from 6 to 8 minutes until the mixture is homogenous and thick. Take off the pan from the stove and add the lemon juice and vanilla.
Let it chill and then put it in the fridge for awhile.
Take it out of the fridge, fill the tarts and decorate
them with fresh strawberries and cream. Enjoy!
